Accessibility
Last updated: 30 August 2026
Dr Yaz Iyabo Osho wants this personal professional website to be accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of how they browse or what tools they use to do so. This page explains the approach taken, what has actually been checked, and what is still being improved.
Accessibility approach
This site has been designed and checked to support:
- keyboard navigation throughout the header, menus, links, buttons and Contact form
- visible focus indicators
- readable colour contrast
- clear headings and page structure
- responsive layouts that work across screen sizes
- labelled, keyboard-operable form fields
- descriptive link text
- text resizing and browser zoom
Standards
This website has been designed with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA in mind. It has not undergone a comprehensive independent accessibility audit, so this should not be read as a formal claim of full WCAG 2.2 AA compliance or complete accessibility.
Known limitations
No major internal accessibility barrier is currently known, but the following limitations have been identified:
- The current book cover image is a low-resolution placeholder and will be replaced with a higher-resolution version before launch.
- The accessibility of external websites linked from this site, including publishers, journals and Holding the Space, is outside Yaz’s control.
Further issues may still be identified as the site develops, and this page will be updated when they are.
Contact form
The Contact form uses visible labels, clearly marked required fields, keyboard-operable controls and error messages that do not rely on colour alone.
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you have difficulty using any part of this site, please get in touch through the Contact page. Where possible, it helps to include:
- the page or content involved
- what you were trying to do
- the browser or assistive technology you were using, if you’re comfortable sharing it
External content
This site links to external publishers, journals and initiative websites. Their accessibility is managed independently and is outside Yaz’s control.
Reviewing this statement
This statement will be reviewed when the website changes materially, or when an accessibility issue is identified.
